Acceptance of Terms

• These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Indiekraft website, mobile application, and all associated services (“Platform”).
• By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, purchasing products, or browsing items, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
• If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue using the Platform immediately.
• Indiekraft reserves the right to modify, update, or replace any part of these Terms at any time.

Updates will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

About Indiekraft

• Indiekraft is an online multi-vendor marketplace that connects buyers with independent artists, creators, wholesalers, and production units offering handmade, artisan, and craft-based products.
• Indiekraft operates as a facilitator and is not the manufacturer of products listed by third-party Vendors unless explicitly stated.
• Indiekraft does not guarantee that Vendor products will meet customer expectations in terms of size, color, appearance, or craftsmanship.
• Indiekraft may transition to a Private Limited Company structure in the future. Upon such transition, these Terms will continue to remain valid unless explicitly revised.

User Accounts

• To purchase products or access full Platform features, users must create an account using accurate personal information (name, email address, phone number, shipping address).

• You agree to:

  • Maintain updated and accurate information.
  • Keep login credentials confidential.
  • Inform Indiekraft immediately of unauthorised account access.

• Users are fully responsible for activities conducted under their account.

  • Indiekraft may suspend or terminate accounts for:
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Policy violations
  • Abuse of services
  • Use of false or misleading information
  • Non-compliance with applicable Indian laws
• Users may request account deletion by contacting support.

Marketplace Role & Responsibilities

4.1 Responsibilities of Indiekraft

​Indiekraft provides:

• • A secure platform for Vendors to list products
  • Payment processing services on behalf of Vendors
  • Order tracking and dispatch coordination
  • Customer support for order-related issues
  • Dispute facilitation between buyer and Vendor

​Indiekraft does not:

• • Manufacture most products
  • Own Vendor-created content
  • Guarantee product authenticity or durability
  • Control Vendor inventory, production, or pricing

4.2 Responsibilities of Vendors

​Vendors must:

• • Ensure product accuracy, authenticity, and quality
  • Describe products truthfully
  • Update stock availability
  • Handle return/refund requests for their products
  • Cooperate with Indiekraft for dispute resolution
  • Meet shipping and packaging standards
  • Comply with all Indian e-commerce and consumer protection laws

​Indiekraft may deactivate Vendor accounts for repeated violations.

Pricing & Payments

• All prices listed on the Platform include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
• Indiekraft may correct pricing errors and cancel orders even after placement if the price was incorrect or misleading.
• All payments for buyer purchases are processed directly by Indiekraft.
• ndiekraft will release Vendor payouts only after the return/refund window is completed and after verifying that the customer has not raised a dispute.
• Vendor commission rates (10%–15%) depend on product category and are governed by a private Vendor Agreement, not disclosed publicly.

Shipping & Delivery

• IndieKraft uses Shiprocket as the primary logistics partner.

• Shipping Fees: All products ship free.

• Estimated delivery times are 3–7 business days after dispatch, depending on location and courier performance.
• Delivery delays caused by courier issues, weather, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances are outside Indiekraft’s control.
• After dispatch, customers receive a tracking number via email or SMS.

• Indiekraft is not liable for failed delivery attempts due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Unreachable customer
  • Customer refusal to accept the parcel
• Additional charges may apply for redelivery.
  

Return Policy

• Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

• Valid reasons include:

  • Wrong product received
  • Damaged item
  • Defective product
  • Size issues
  • Change of mind

• Return Eligibility Requirements:

  • Product must be unused
  • All original packaging must be intact
  • Tags and labels must remain attached
  • Customer must provide unboxing photos/videos as proof
• Products must be handed over for pickup with secure packaging.

Replacement Policy

• Replacement requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.
• Valid reasons: wrong, defective, damaged, or size-incorrect items.

• Replacements require:

  • Unused product
  • Original packaging
  • Tags attached
  • Unboxing proof

• If replacement stock is unavailable, customers may choose:

  • A product of equal value
  • A refund
• Replacement shipping charges may be covered by Indiekraft or the Vendor depending on the reason.
• Shiprocket manages reverse pickup for replacements.

Refund Policy

• Refunds are processed only after:

  • The product is returned
  • The product is inspected and approved
• Refunds are issued via the original payment method.
• Refund timeline: 7–15 business days after approval.

• Refunds may be withheld for:

  • Missing accessories
  • Tampered packaging
  • Product usage or damage caused by buyer

Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

• Sell illegal or counterfeit items
• Circumvent platform fees
• Misuse payment gateways
• Engage in fraudulent transactions
• Impersonate other users
• Upload harmful content, malware, or viruses
• Copy, reproduce, or distribute Indiekraft content
• Misuse Vendor or buyer data

Violations may lead to account termination, legal action, or reporting to authorities.

Intellectual Property Rights

Vendors retain ownership of:

• Product photos
• Descriptions
• Branding
• Creative content

Vendors grant Indiekraft a license to use their content for:

• Advertising
• Platform display
• Social media promotion
• Marketing campaigns

IndieKraft owns all rights to:

• Website design
• Logos
• UI/UX elements
• Databases
• Platform software

Unauthorised use of Indiekraft’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

Third-Party Vendor Disclaimer

• IndieKraft acts only as an intermediary.

• All product liability lies with the Vendor, including:

  • Quality issues
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Misrepresentation
  • Warranty claims
• IndieKraft may, at its discretion, mediate disputes but is not legally responsible for Vendor actions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law:

• Indiekraft is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Indiekraft is not responsible for product defects by Vendors
• Indiekraft is not responsible for shipping delays or courier errors
• Indiekraft’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order in dispute

Dispute Resolution

Indiekraft reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

• Customers must first contact IndieKraft via email at: indiekraftofficial@gmail.com
• Indiekraft will attempt to resolve disputes through email-based communication.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in West Bengal, India, under Indian Consumer Protection laws.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, Consumer Protection Act, and applicable e-commerce regulations.

Termination of Services

Indiekraft may suspend or terminate accounts for: 

• Fraud
• Policy violations
• Abusive behavior
• Misuse of the Platform
• Violations of Indian law
