Return & Replacement Policy

This Return & Replacement Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made on indiekraft.in (“Website”) operated by Indiekraft (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

Return & Replacement Period


  • You may **initiate a return or replacement request within 7 days from the date of delivery.
  • Requests submitted after this period may not be accepted, except at our discretion.

Valid Reasons for Return or Replacement


We accept returns or replacements for the following reasons:

  • Wrong product received

  • Damaged product

  • Defective item

  • Size issues or poor fit

Please note: “Change of mind” is eligible only for returns, not replacements.

Conditions for Return / Replacement


To be eligible for return or replacement, the item must:

  1. Be unused and not have been worn / used in any way.
  2. Be in its original packaging, including box, wrapping, and any included accessories.
  3. Have all tags or labels attached, where applicable.
  4. Include unboxing photo and/or video proof when you submit the request, clearly showing the condition of the item when opened.

Approval Process


  • Indiekraft along with the vendor will review your request for return or replacement.
  • We may inspect the item (or ask the vendor to) before approving a replacement, depending on the situation.
  • If the same product (or size) is unavailable for replacement, you may choose:

    • Another item of similar monetary value, or
    • A refund.

Replacement Shipping Costs


  • The cost of shipping for the replacement item will depend on the situation: sometimes Indiekraft covers it, sometimes the vendor does, or both.
  • For pickup of the item to be replaced, Shiprocket will handle reverse logistics, if required.

Return Shipping Costs


  • Return shipping costs depend on why you are returning: e.g., defective / damaged / wrong item might be free (or partially covered), while a “change of mind” return might incur costs.
  • We decide on a case-by-case basis, involving both Indiekraft and the vendor.

Refund Method


  • If a return is approved, we will refund you via the same payment method you used during purchase.

Refund Processing Time


  • Once the returned item is received and verified to meet the above conditions, refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.

Non-Returnable / Non-Replaceable Items


Certain items cannot be returned or replaced:

  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Fragile or very delicate items
  • Perishable goods
  • Clearance or sale items

Damage / Defect Reporting


  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, you must report it within the 7-day window, with unboxing photo/video proof.
  • We will work with the vendor to decide whether to issue a replacement or a refund, based on stock and availability.

Risk and Liability


  • Once you initiate a return or replacement and the pickup is arranged, the risk of damage or loss during reverse shipping lies with Indiekraft / our logistics partner.
  • You must ensure that the product is repackaged properly for safe return. If not, we reserve the right to reject the return or replace/refund partially.

Compliance with India’s E-Commerce Laws


  • Our policy is in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which require transparency on returns, refunds, replacements, and grievance redressal.
  • Under these rules, sellers (vendors) cannot refuse to accept returns or replacements for defective, damaged or mis-described items.
  • We maintain a grievance mechanism to handle consumer complaints. As required by law, we will address your complaint in a timely manner.

How to Initiate a Return / Replacement


  • Email us at suppport@indiekraft.in within 7 days of delivery.
  • Provide your order number, the reason for return or replacement, and attach unboxing photos/videos for proof.
  • Once approved, we will coordinate with the vendor for either:

    • Replacement (if stock is available), or 
    • Pickup + refund / exchange.
  • We’ll keep you informed about the status of your request.
